Spend the first day exploring a compact part of Northern Zagorje. Choose your accommodation through the official tourism-board directory and contact the host directly. A local overnight stay leaves more time for a walk, an evening meal and the landscape beyond the main attractions.
For the second day, choose one wider-region anchor such as Trakošćan, the Krapina Neanderthal Museum or Veliki Tabor. These are separate destinations with different visiting arrangements; they are not presented here as the board’s panoramic-route stops. Check opening hours and travel distances before choosing. Add a second stop only if the day still feels comfortable.
